Austroads’ Review of the Movement and Place Guidance

Mary Haverland has been privileged to support Austroads in their Review of the Movement and Place Guidance within the Austroads Guide to Traffic Management (AGTM).

Movement and Place is a simple concept in theory but can be challenging to apply in practice. This updated guidance focuses on how Movement and Place is embedded in the Austroads Guide to Traffic Management. It provides consistent terminology, details how the concept is applied to network management, and promotes best practice with highlighted case studies, with the aim to support transport agencies in developing and implementing Movement and Place frameworks.
