We are delighted to welcome Cindy Williams to Avandra Advisory as Director, leading our strategy and growth across our expanding national business.

Cindy brings more than 22 years of experience as a highly respected leader in integrated transport and land use planning, with a proven track record delivering complex, city-shaping outcomes across government and consultancy. Her career has been defined by a deep commitment to integrated transport and land use planning, aligning movement, place, and infrastructure to support sustainable, resilient and connected communities.

Cindy has led multidisciplinary teams on major projects spanning transport strategy, infrastructure planning, urban renewal and growth area development. She is widely recognised for her ability to embed integrated transport and land use planning principles into practical, evidence-based strategies, bringing together transport networks, land use outcomes and investment priorities to unlock development potential and guide long-term growth.

Her experience includes shaping multimodal transport strategies, delivering large-scale structure plans, leading feasibility studies and business cases, and applying Movement and Place frameworks to achieve balanced, people-focused outcomes. Cindy is also highly regarded for her collaborative leadership style, strong stakeholder engagement, and her ability to translate complex technical work into clear, actionable direction.

In her role, Cindy will play a key part in shaping Avandra’s strategic direction and driving sustainable business growth, strengthening our client relationships and expanding our national footprint. Her ability to build trusted partnerships and align client needs with long-term strategic outcomes will be central to how we continue to deliver value.
