Avandra joins the conversation at the National Transport Conference in Adelaide

Avandra Advisory was proud to attend the 2025 National Transport Conference in Adelaide, hosted by the Transport Professionals Association (formerly AITPM). It was an energising week filled with innovation, collaboration, and connection across the transport sector.

Nicole Vukic chaired a standout session on “Revolutionising Transport: The Future of Zero-Emission Mobility,” while Mary Haverland led the session “Transforming Urban Mobility: Safer Streets, Smarter Parking and Zero-Emission Innovations” and participated in the Association’s National Board Meeting.

Between thought-provoking keynotes and engaging presentations, the Avandra team made the most of every opportunity to connect with peers and contribute to the national conversation on transport futures. We also had a bit of fun at the Safe Systems Quiz Night, where our team—featuring our potato friend, Chappell Road—claimed (self-declared) victory.

Some of our key reflections from the week: the future of transport is bold and inclusive with exciting developments in AI, equity, precinct design and zero-emission mobility; the transport community remains one of the most generous and collaborative professional networks; and never underestimate the power of a good coffee before an 8:40 AM keynote!

Thank you to everyone who made the conference such a rewarding experience. We’re already looking forward to reconnecting in Brisbane in 2026.
